Similar to Kanchipuram Silk Sarees, Arani Silk sarees are handwoven sarees using silk and cotton threads. Arani is located on the banks of Kamandala River and is a small town in Thiruvanamalai. These beautiful rich coloured sarees are weaved using both pitlooms & frame looms and takes about 7 days to be completed.
